 The delivery of disks full of VLBI data for Event Horizon Telescope observations in April 2017 from the South Pole Telescope to the MIT Haystack Observatory made it to the list of the most interesting events in science at the end of 2017: [Nature](https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-017-08676-6)
